La banda de reggae de Madrid (España) Emeterians presenta en otoño de 2009 su nuevo disco “Change The Mood”. Después de dos años girando por España y Europa con su primer LP “Seeds” (2007), Emeterians regresa con un nuevo sonido más maduro y una producción mucho más cuidada.

Grabado y mezclado en Attick Studio, “Change The Mood” es un trabajo totalmente autoproducido por Emeterians. Contiene 12 canciones inspiradas en las raices de la música jamaicana, Reggae Roots y el sonido Dub, sin perder la identidad y la frescura de banda del siglo XXI.

“Change The Mood” lanza un mensaje de mejora y actitud positiva, y todas sus canciones proponen una forma de vida consciente y comprometida con el mundo en el que vivimos.

DOSSIER

Emeterians is one of the most representative Reggae bands from Spain. Their dedication to Jamaican music has made them one of the bands that most truly recreates the warmful sound of Roots Reggae.

Emeterians family is formed by 11 young musicians, who previously played in different and well known music bands from Madrid, who where gathered by the need of a Reggae scene renewal into a unique formation of three gifted vocals (playing rythm guitar, bongos and piano), hammond player, solo guitarist, percussionist, complete brass section (sax, trumpet and trombone) and the most powerful drum and bass.

“Change the Mood”, Emeterians's second album, is now released. All the effort and hard work that the band has been developing, regarding creativity, sound and production are reflected in this album. The sound of Emeterians is now complete.

“Change the Mood” contains 12 original tracks, in which powerful lyrics and fat grooves come together in the songs the band believes to be their best.
