- PSYCHOPATHY AND POLITICAL PONEROLOGY -

This podcast will feature a number of reviews of books as well as different topics. All of these topics inevitably will relate to a central theme. This theme is the development of human society, and it's control and management by a governing class and category of people recognizable worldwide and throughout history as a wealthy elite and their followers and servants.
Does this state of affairs present a problem for the stability, fairness and personal autonomy for human beings and the society they form, and where is the future taking us in this regard?
In this episode - episode 2 - we look at the possibility that political and social policy decisions are made by persons with a distinctive psychological makeup tending towards antipathy, with dire consequences for the world's populations.
To begin with, here are some passages on the condition of psychopathy as understood by psychologists:

"Psychopathy is a psychological construct that describes chronic immoral and antisocial behavior.[1] The term is often used interchangeably with sociopathy[2]. Psychopathy has been the most studied of any personality disorder. Today the term can legitimately be used in two ways. One is in the legal sense, "psychopathic personality disorder" under the Mental Health Act 1983 of the UK. The other use is as a severe form of the antisocial or dissocial personality disorder as exclusively defined by the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R).[3] The term "psychopathy" is often confused with psychotic disorders. It is estimated that approximately one percent of the general population are psychopaths. They are overrepresented in prison systems, politics, law enforcement agencies, law firms, and in the media.[4][5][6]
The psychopath is defined by a continual seeking of instant gratification in criminal, sexual, or aggressive impulses. The psychopath differs slightly from the sociopath, and even more so from an individual with antisocial personality disorder. Nevertheless, the three are frequently used interchangeably. While all psychopaths have antisocial personality disorder, only some individuals with antisocial personality disorder are psychopaths. Many psychologists believe that psychopathy falls on a spectrum of disorders ranging from narcissistic personality disorder on the low end, malignant narcissism in the middle, and psychopathy on the high end. An almost all-pervasive misconception is that psychopaths are doomed to a life of violence and crime. It is possible for psychopaths to become successful in many lines of work, while many also become lazy underachievers. Psychopathy is frequently mistaken with other similar personality disorder, such as dissocial personality disorder, narcissitic personality disorder, and schizoid personality disorder (as well as others)."
And these excerpts from Encarta Encyclopedia (2007 Standard Edition) on the subjects of criminal psychology and mental disorders:
"While rejecting the concept of a criminal gene, research has relentlessly pursued the contribution of genetics to human behaviour. Recently, a possible biological basis of the aggressive psychopath - an extra Y (male sex) chromosome in some males (the XYY chromosome) - was found in greater abundance in criminal populations than would have been predicted by chance. However, there is as yet no positive conclusion to these findings.
The traditional genetic approach has been to study families of criminals, adopted criminals, and twins reared together or apart. From these studies genetic influences are clearly present, but the importance of environmental factors cannot be ruled out.
Current thinking stresses a range of genetic influences and the potency of the interaction between genetic and environmental factors. However, there is sufficient evidence for a biological basis for criminal behaviour to justify a continuing search. Researchers have therefore looked at the role of intelligence and personality."
"Research done mainly in the United States suggests that serious personality disorder, such as psychopathy, may be linked to brain abnormality. The cause of the abnormality is also disputed: while some believe it is genetic, others think that it is the result of brain injury which may have happened when the child was physically abused by a violent parent, or it may come from birth difficulties or an early head injury."

A passage from researcher Alan Watt describes the psychopathic tendency among those in positions of power.
He says:
"There's a book people should really try and get their hands on and it's called "Political Ponerology". [...] It’s probably the first book where scientists, people who have gone into psychology who have lived through tyrannies pondered the problem of psychopathy and noticed that all of those main characters at the top in the present day and down through history have all the psychopathic traits. The book is called "Political Ponerology" and the author is Andrew M. Lobaczewski.
This is an excellent book. It's written obviously from someone who is truly searching. Sometimes he goes off too much into the psychological aspects and even the physical aspects of possible brain defects, which still is mainly theoretical, but at least all the signs and the symptoms are in this particular book. The ISBN # is: 1-897244-18-5. Excellent book written initially by a fellow who came out of the Soviet system, who had some persecution in his life there and whose fellows have been persecuted for trying to get to the bottom of why the leaders in all idealistic systems end up at the top after a very short time as being all comprised of psychopaths. The same MO. "Poneros" is the Greek term. That's where they got the name "poneros" for evil and "ology" for doctrine or science.
Ponerology is the name of the book. It's probably the first one to really go in to this in any depth and tie a lot together and put it across in such a way that the average person can try and understand how these people are different from ourselves. He also accepts the fact that I've said for many years those who are psychopathic cannot but help get to the top in this particular system, since it's a system that was designed by psychopaths for psychopaths in the very first place. Winners and losers, those who claw their way up in guile and con their way up and destroy lives in the process without conscience are called "successful". You'll see lots of it in the business world and this author goes through a lot of that and how this is their actual system we're living in and how they always get to a stage where they come to fear the people and they want to depopulate."

Political Ponerology seems to be a topic well studied, as we can see from the following:

It quotes Lobczewski as saying:
"Pathocracy is a disease of great social movements followed by entire societies, nations, and empires. In the course of human history, it has affected social, political, and religious movements as well as the accompanying ideologies… and turned them into caricatures of themselves…. This occurred as a result of the … participation of pathological agents in a pathodynamically similar process. That explains why all the pathocracies of the world are, and have been, so similar in their essential properties.
...Identifying these phenomena through history and properly qualifying them according to their true nature and contents - not according to the ideology in question, which succumbed to the process of caricaturization - is a job for historians. […]
The actions of [pathocracy] affect an entire society, starting with the leaders and infiltrating every town, business, and institution. The pathological social structure gradually covers the entire country creating a “new class” within that nation. This privileged class [of pathocrats] feels permanently threatened by the “others”, i.e. by the majority of normal people. Neither do the pathocrats entertain any illusions about their personal fate should there be a return to the system of normal man."

And here Lobczewski reflects on recognizing pathopathic traits and behaviour in those in positions of authority.
He says:
"...society sees the appearance of individuals who have collected exceptional intuitive perception and practical knowledge in the area of how pathocrats think and such a system of rule operates.
Some of them become so proficient in the deviant psychopath language and its idiomatics that they are able to use it, much like a foreign language they have learned well. Since they are to decipher the rulership's intentions, such people thereupon offer advice to people who are having trouble with the authorities. These usually disinterested advocates of the society of normal people play a irreplaceable role in the life of society. The pathocrats, however, can never learn to think in normal human categories. At the same time, the ability to predict the ways of reaction of such an authority also leads to the conclusion that the system is rigidly causative and lacking in the natural freedom of choice. [...]
I was once referred a patient who had been an inmate in a Nazi concentration camp. She came back from that hell in such exceptionally good condition that she was still able to marry and bear three children. However, her child-rearing methods were so extremely iron-fisted as to be much too reminiscent of the concentration camp life so stubbornly per-severing in former prisoners. The children's reaction was neurotic protest and aggressiveness against other children.
During the mother's psychotherapy, we recalled the figures of male and female SS officers to her mind, pointing out their psychopathic characteristics (such people were primary recruits). In order to help her eliminate their pathological material from her person, I furnished her with approximate statistical data regarding the appearance of such individuals within the population as whole. This helped her reach a more objective view of that reality and reestablish trust in the society of normal people. ...
Parallel to the development of practical knowledge and a language of insider communication, other psychological phenomena take form; they are truly significant in the transformation of social life under pathocratic rule, and discerning them is essential if one wishes to understand individuals and nations fated to live under such conditions and to evaluate the situation in the political sphere. They include people's psychological immunization and their adaptation to life under such deviant conditions.
The methods of psychological terror (that specific pathocratic art), the techniques of pathological arrogance, and the striding roughshod into other people's souls initially have such traumatic effects that people are deprived of their capacity for purposeful reaction; I have already adduced the psychophysiological aspects of such states. Ten or twenty years later, analogous behavior can be recognized as well-known buffoonery and does not deprive the victim of his ability to think and react purposefully. His answers are usually well-thought-out strategies, issued from the position of a normal person's superiority and often laced with ridicule."

Then we have this from the website http://www.ponerology.com/
It says:
"Inherited and acquired psychological disorders and ignorance of their existence and nature are the primal causes of evil. The magic number of 6% seems to represent the number of humans who either carry the genes responsible for biological evil or who acquire such disorders in the course of their lifetime. This small percent is responsible for the vast majority of human misery and crime, and for infecting others with their flawed view of the world.
The scope of evil does not respect any boundaries of race, doctrine, or ideology. All races carry the genes, and all schools of thought are susceptible to their influence. These pathological factors that influence behaviour form a complex web. It is only in such a web that the "environmental evil" wherein circumstances can influence a normal person to commit harmful acts can be understood.
Of 5000 psychotic, neurotic and healthy patients, Lobaczewski identified 384 (7.7%) who caused serious harm (physical and/or emotional) to others. Some of these had been penalized for their actions and some had been protected by Communist government of the time. Contrary to the common moralistic interpretation of evil actions ("evil consists of making evil choices"), and also contrary to legal systems which views psychopaths as sane and thus responsible for their actions, the vast majority (85%) of these 384 individuals showed psychopathological factors influencing their behaviour. It is likely that, without these factors present, the harmful actions would not have taken place. These psychological factors limit the subject's ability to control their actions. In this sense, a moralistic interpretation to psychopathic behavior is fundamentally flawed."
And on the essence of ponerolgy, it says:
"PONEROLOGY: A NEW SCIENCE
No matter how eloquently and accurately authors (novelists, dramatists, poets, historians) describe the occurrence of evil, a disease cannot be cured through description alone. Our natural language cannot adequately explain the concepts surrounding such phenomena. Only a scientific understanding drawing from psychological, social, and moral concepts can approach the understanding necessary to prevent the emergence of mass madness seen so many times in the history of our planet.
Ponerology describes the genesis, existence, and spread of the macrosocial disease called evil. Its causes are traceable and can be repeatedly observed and analyzed. When humanity manages to incorporate this knowledge into its natural worldview, it will have defensive potential as yet unrealized."

And we finish with an excerpt from Watt regarding the history of the psychopathic drive for power:
He says:
"The leisure class wants to maintain itself and so they hired the brightest amongst them or around them to be advisers to study the populations, to manage the populations and they also ensured they had a good religion that gave them the rules, the rules to follow for obedience primarily. Once in a while these city-states would have wars amongst themselves because the guys at the top were different. They were different from those they ruled over. They were different in that they had certain tendencies, the inability really to bond with people naturally or have empathy. Today we call them psychopaths and these psychopaths that got to the top through cunning and guile and even murder. It was no problem. They killed their parents when necessary. That shows you the types that they were, where they couldn't even bond with their own families.
They got to the top and they interbred pretty well in all the Ancient World because they always got to the top using the same monied system. Interbred and eventually intermarried each other. Kings and queens would marry from different countries and the princes and princesses and they marry their cousins and so on. This went right down through the centuries and if you follow the histories of Europe and all of the internal strife mainly between England and France and a few other countries in Europe, you'll find really it was centuries of kings fighting other kings in other countries who were their cousins. Generally these kings never took part in the battles themselves or they were at the rear if they wouldn't go anywhere near it, but they profited from it and they also kept the populations down. They discussed these facts with themselves too because they found out that when they were at war that the populace were much more obedient, less likely to grumble and they'd actually cough up more in taxation. They could even take their pigs and their chickens and their hens from them to feed the armies with less grumbling, and this went on down through the centuries up until the present day.
These characters knew in the 1800’s for instance – they actually knew in the 1700’s that the time would come because they have all these advisers. As I say, they always hire advisers to keep the pulse of the populace to know what's going on so they can keep on top of things, but they always did studies. Today we call them “gathering statistical data” but they've always done this. They knew the time would come when they'd all be fighting for a global system and they realized too the fastest way to create changes towards something is to direct opposing forces; and if you don't have opposing forces you create them. You have conflict creation and out of the conflict you have resolution or synthesis, same thing.
The public who go through all of these wars and the depressions that are caused and all the rest of it never catch on because the rulers make sure that their top universities publish the histories. Therefore, the winners always write the histories in a very flowery fashion and they always give you very good reasons for having these wars but never the real reasons. It was always an amazement to me to find that Britain for instance went into World War II under the guise of speeches to save your culture and your freedoms and your way of life, which really wasn’t far removed at that time from the old feudal system. There was still an upper elite that everyone knew ran the country, even though you had this strange thing called voting that was fairly recent from the World War I. When Britain emerged from World War II they were a nationalist socialist country because the government had taken over all of the functions, all of the main what we call infrastructure of society. That's your farming. That's your industry. That's your transportation. They had taken all of this over and created massive bureaucracies to deal with it.
They went into the war to fight supposedly national socialism, which was Natziism, and came out of the war as a national socialist country at least on the outside, but in reality the top clique at the top, Winston Churchill and others and it's now been disclosed by his personal secretary during World War II who is now a Sir I believe. It's called "The Fringes of Power," the book, you should read it. It's about the memoirs and the notes he took while he was the secretary with Winston Churchill and how Churchill told the public to go off and save their way of life, their culture and so on, and at parties at night he was telling his own peer group as he go happily sozzled, which was pretty well every night, that this is the greatest thing that had ever happened to Britain because they, the elite themselves, would have their age long dream of a United Europe.
Now a United Europe obviously meant you were going to lose your culture and your way of life et cetera, but these characters have no problem of lying to the general populace whom they really see as dumb stupid animals. However, nothing has happened since then. At that time, this particular clique signed a deal to de-industrialize Britain and other countries of Europe and eventually to bring in the system they have now. Britain was the first country to approach France and together they worked on the integration of Europe, all quietly all through lies and deception. They lied to the public for almost 50 years and now they've declassified the documentation from the British government admitting all of this; and at the end, it said that the public must not be told anything of this or the truth until it's all completed; and the same thing was to happen to the Americas.
These psychopathic groups they all know each other, this Anglo-American Establishment which also goes beyond England and beyond the U.S., it’s worldwide now, have formed a club over the last 50 to almost 100 years knowing that they could get this global system into place. As always, down through the ages, when the top psychopaths, these interbred people and they do have a big difference because they don't have a part of the brain functioning or even possibly even there that gives them normal decency and empathy for others. They're unable to feel the pain. They can say that they feel the pain like some have said recently, but they don't actually feel anything at all, they're born actors and we're seeing it manifest today with the one who are in power across the world. "
